We got Tom home from the hospital this afternoon about 3 pm. He is very tired from the ride as would be expected If you have never ridden home from the hospital after having surgery well it is no picnic! He goes back next Friday to get his staples taken out and then in 4 to 6 weeks they can reverse the ileostomy. Recovery time from this surgery is about 6 weeks, hospital time for the reversal 1 to 2 day and recovery about 1 to 2 weeks so we are looking at 8 weeks of recovery time.
Please continue to pray for his recovery. We can tell when people are praying and there is still a lot of recovery time.
Again, we cannot thank you all enough for all the prayers, cards, calls, emails and encouragements that we have gotten. It has meant so much to us! Most of all we praise God for being our Strong Tower, Shield & Provider (just to name a few) through all this.
