Update

Hi Everyone


It has been a fast but long week!  We have been able to finally get the ostomy to quit leaking enough that we are only changing it every other day.  That is great! Tom is still weak and needs a lot of rest but is healing well.  The doctor was very pleased with his progress when we went back last Friday.  I went back to work on Monday but was out again yesterday due to some back problems.  


Thanks to those of you who have brought us food and encouragement.  I am slow at getting Thank you cards done but it is appreciated!  Some of you have asked if it is okay to visit or call.  Calls are fine anytime (well within reason!), if he doesn't answer just leave a message.  Visits are fine, just give us a call to see how he is feeling and so we can corral the dogs before you get here!  Either would encourage him greatly!
