This will be a very busy week in the Lamb household. Tuesday, Tom has to go for yet another test. They have detected a narrowing in the intestine where they put things back together and need to check it out before they do the reversal surgery. If all goes well, then on Wednesday, the 26th, he will have the ileostomy reversed and be in the hospital until Friday. He hopes to go back to work the work of Labor Day. He is already doing some work from home which is great for him.
Please continue to pray for him and for the rest of our family. Pray for Tom to gain his strength back in order to be able to go back to work. Layne is still searching for a teaching job. Zeke is still searching for a job...of any kind. God continues to provide and meet all our needs just in time and just enough. We are blessed! Also pray for me as I go see a specialist this week for some problems detected a few days ago. I am sure it is just stress but I have to get it checked out.
Thank you so much for all your prayers through this journey. We can see the hand of God so mightily as we look back over the last few months. This is far from over as Tom is still facing 16 weeks of chemo so please don't stop praying for us!
