11th Treatment done!

Well, Tom has finished his 11th of 12 treatments!  The bad news is that his blood count has dropped and if it drops too low it will cause a delay in the 12th treatment.  The Dr. said that he has never had anyone make it to this point and do this well.  That is totally due to your prayers and the grace of God.  Now we need your prayers to get through the next 4 weeks and beyond.  It will take him quite a while to recover from all of this.


We do have some great news to share!  For those of you who have not heard, Zeke has recently been hired as Music and Youth Pastor at First Baptist Church, Carthage, TN.  Last Friday they closed on their home and they will get to move after April 17th.  Layne will finish out the year teaching here in Shelbyville and Zeke is going back and forth between here and Carthage (about an hour away).  We are thrilled for them!  

Specifically here is what you can pray for:

1.  Tom's blood count, specifically platelets, does not drop anymore.

2.  That his appetite does not continue to decrease so that he can keep up his strength.

3.  In general, strength and endurance.

4.  That the 12th treatment is not delayed!

5.  Layne & Zeke's transition to Carthage and their first home!
