I just thought I would give you all a quick update. Tom is finally beginning to feel a little bit better. He got out of the house to go to church Sunday and then back to a meeting on Sunday afternoon. If he could only get to the point where he could eat ice cream he would be a happy camper! Well and if he could get back to work he would be happy too!
Speaking of work, we could never say it enough but both of our employers have been extremely understanding and generous in our time during this last year of treatments and surgeries, etc. Lifeway has let Tom work from home during the last few weeks of this last round of chemo and First Community has allowed me to be off anytime I needed to be. Thank you all!
Please continue to pray for Tom to regain his strength. Pray for our friends Mark & Lee Tidwell (Atlanta) as Mark fights his own battle with cancer. We have a praise from our friend Pam Lesniowski in Vegas, she is cancer-free! Our little 7 year old friend Samantha from our church here in Shelbyville, who was fighting leukemia went home to be with the Lord a couple of weeks ago so please keep her family, the Abbotts in your prayers.
