4 weeks

It has been 4 weeks since Tom's last chemo treatment and he is feeling some better.  Over the past 2 weeks he has worked 1/2 days on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.  He of course thinks he should be back full force!  I think he is doing great to do the 1/2 days plus the hour drive each way.  


He has good days and bad days still but that is to be expected.  We are slowly getting back into our regular routine.  For some reason, going to church takes more out of him than anything but he is getting there.  That has been very hard because we are so out of touch with everyone and everything.  


As most of you know, Zeke has taken a position as Music and Youth Pastor at First Baptist Carthage, TN.  They have bought a house in Carthage and although Zeke is there, they have not gotten to move in all their stuff yet.  They had planned to move yesterday but the weather prevented that.  It is a great house and we are so excited for them!  Layne will finish out the school year here in Bedford County and then look for a job in the Smith County area.  I think she has posted some photos of the house on her blog.  


Please continue to pray for Tom's recovery!  We appreciate your prayers so much.  Also continue to pray for Mark Tidwell as he battles the same thing.
