Scan Results were....

GOOD!  THERE WAS NO MORE CANCER!
As you can tell we are a little excited about the results that we got from Tom's CT scan on Tuesday!  There will still be more scans later and more bloodwork over the next few months but NO MORE CHEMO!!!

Thank you for your prayers and for sharing in our joy of these results.  God has been so faithful to us.  He has provided for our every need through so many of you.

I have had trouble writing this post because I just could not put our feelings into words.  Finally, this morning I believe God has clarified it for me.  Many of you have asked or wondered how we have dealt with this or how we have coped with the worry that should accompany this disease.  We haven't dealt with it, God has.   Both Tom and I have a close, personal, intimate relationship with Jesus.  He is our Saviour and LORD.  This relationship makes all the difference!

There is a difference in going to church on Sunday and maybe even Wednesday nights too  and being a true follower of Jesus Christ.  We both put our full trust in Him and know that God is in control.  To quote a dear friend, "we put our yes on the table" a long time ago.  Wherever God says to go, we will go.  Would we go back to Las Vegas?  In a heartbeat!  Would we go somewhere else if He call us there?  Definitely!

The point is that God is in control.  This disease did not surprise God.  He knew from the beginning of time that this would happen.  He knows what will happen in our lives from this minute forward.  We both felt God's comfort and peace from the very beginning.  Sure we had moments of doubt and fear, that is Satan's job!  He does it well.  Still, that peace of God never left us because God never left us.  If you don't have that personal, intimate relationship with God, you are welcome to ask us about it.  Talk to someone about it please!  It is more than just knowing God exists!

We love you all and thank you so very much for your prayers and support. God has more in store for us and we just can't wait!
