Only 3 more to go!

I am actually starting this post the morning of the 9th treatment.  As I was having my Quiet Time this morning, God really impressed upon me about praying for others who are, have and will go through the same thing that we are going through.  No matter what the type of cancer, chemo is chemo and radiation is radiation.  Not fun stuff!




Tom finished his 9th treatment on Tuesday and got the pump off today.  Afterward he went on to work and attended a seminar and even won a door prize!  He has not been able to work since last week so it was good that he could go in today.  The side effects get worse with each treatment and the Dr. says not to expect them to let up until it is over.  (His hands cramp and won't straighten, his legs hurt to the point of not being able to walk on them, he has random "brain freezes" and the cold hurts him like needles sticking into his skin.)  However, there are only 3 treatments left!!  


Please continue to keep him in your prayers.  It is extremely important to us all to know that we are covered by your prayers.  He needs encouragement.  Although there are only 3 treatments, there are still 6 weeks left of this plus another 6 to begin feeling 'normal' again.  Thank you all!
